Simmer 3 kg of kudu shanks/ stew in boiling water for 2 hours - discard the water. Put clean boiling water back into the pot with the meat, add the following: 2 peeled onions, sliced 2 tablespoons Worcestershire sauce 1/2 cup peach chutney 2 teaspoons mustard, cayenne pepper, black pepper, etc 6 potatoes, peeled and diced 2 cups of milk 1 packet brown onion soup powder Leave to simmer for about half an hour and add the packet of brown onion soup powder which has been prepared with water according to the instructions on the packet. Continue to simmer until the potatoes and meat are nice and soft. Around 4 hours of cooking in total.
