One of the favourite game meats, tender & delicious, known for making great carpaccio.
Also extremely tender, many of our clients choose Duiker over other buck for its distinctive flavour.
Warthog is pork’s tastier cousin. All the juiciness & tenderness of pork, but leaner and with more flavour.
Redder in colour, Bushpig meat is a little less gamey tasting than that of Warthog.
Somewhere between Kudu and Bushbuck, Nyala meat remains a firm favourite amongst game meat lovers.
Basically a cow on stilts, Eland meat rivals beef in texture and taste, only it’s way healthier.
Rich, tender & slightly wild tasting, Kudu remains one of the favourite game meats.
Known for the tenderness of its meat, Gemsbuck eats only grass, making its meat consistently sweeter than other buck.
Game meat lovers choose Sable for its distinctive, rich flavour.
Buffalo is also similar in texture and taste to beef. These are some of the hugest, juiciest steaks you’ll ever enjoy.
Along with Eland, Wildebeest is probably the closest to beef. Great for braais, steaks and biltong.
Completely underrated, the grass-eating Blesbuck is probably one of the best meats for cooking, braais and biltong.
Always a crowd-pleaser, Waterbuck is extremely tender, making melt-in-your mouth fillets and biltong.
As relatively placid creatures, Bushbuck meat is softer than Impala, although similar in taste.
Crocodile has a delicate flavour similar to shellfish, but with a texture somewhere between chicken, fish & pork. It is very high in protein & low in fat.
We stock both Wild Crocodile (small portions) and Farmed Crocodile (full bodies/tails/small portions).
Probably the most tender meat you’re ever going to eat. Sold in cuts, or whole with skin for those who smoke the animal or roast its skin.
A relative of the elephant, Dassies are mammals, yet very popular amongst our clients who like to eat wild rabbits.
A bit like a hard-body chicken, Guineafowl has a wild taste uniquely its own.
The Egyptian Duck weights around 1.5kg – 2kg.
Extremely popular, the wild rabbit works well on the braai, roasted or even dried and then coated with peanut butter before placing in the oven – yum!
